FAQ
Where can I find your allergy information?
All allergens are listed in the cake description and on the cake boxes themselves. Please be aware that all products are made in a kitchen that handles most allergens, so we cannot guarantee any cake is entirely “free from”.
Can I order a cake without allergens?
Unfortunately we don’t cater to individual dietary needs at the moment, but this is something we plan to do in the future.
How long does delivery take?
All mini travel cakes and cookies are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Orders for these items are finished, packed and sent on the next working day after your order date. All standard cakes available for purchase on the website are delivered with set delivery fees dependent on postcode, and are available on the checkout page. For delivery outside of the accepted postcode areas, please get in touch to arrange.
Standard cakes require a minimum of 3 days notice. Bespoke cakes and patisserie require a minimum of 10 days notice.
How can I pay?
Alix Rue Patisserie only accepts payment through this website or by bank transfer. For bespoke orders, a 50% deposit is required to book the date, and the remaining 50% is due 7 days prior to delivery at the latest.
Will it be fresh when it arrives?
All products are finished to order, and the travel cakes are sent in custom boxes with cool packs to keep them fresh when shipping. Please follow the care instructions provided to ensure you get the best out of your cakes.
What is the best way to cut your cakes?
There’s tonnes of resources online for cake cutting, but we recommend watching this video here.
